Located in the westernmost part of China，the Pamir  Plateau is called the roof of the Asian  Continent.

位于中国最西部的帕米尔高原，被称为亚洲大陆的屋脊。

With an average altitude of more than 5000 meters and with anextreme temperature of minus 50 degrees Celsius，the plateau has about 2400 billion tons of water frozen at the top of the mountains in the form of glaciers.

由于平均海拔超过5000米和零下50摄氏度的极端气温，这个高原拥有24000亿吨的在其山峰以冰川的形式冷冻着的水。

The Pamir Plateau is not a plateau in the traditional sense.

帕米尔高原不是传统意义上的高原。

As it is not a vast platform，but a collection of snowy peaks and river valleys.

因为它不是一个广大的平台，而是雪峰和河谷的一个集合。

The most famous is located in its southeast.

其最著名的一座山峰（慕士塔格峰）位于帕米尔高原的东南部。

The shape of Mount Muztagata is like an inverted muffin cake.

慕士塔格峰的形状像是一块倒扣的松糕。

At an altitude of 7546 meters and with a water storage capacity of about 45 billion cubic meters，it is truly the “Father of the Ice Mountain”.

因为其7546米的海拔高度和大约450亿立方米的储水量，慕士塔格峰是名副其实的“冰山之父”。

It's relatively easy to climb for a 7000-meter-high mountain.

在同级别的7000米高的山峰里，它是相对来说比较好攀登的。

For skiing enthusiasts，it is a mountain of dreams.

于滑雪爱好者而言，它是梦想之山。

As the highest skiing mountain in the world，its western route is long and deep with snow.

作为世界上最高的滑雪之山，它西部的路线很长，同时有着很深的积雪。

After climbing to the top，people can ski directly down the mountain and experience the incomparable thrill and pleasure.

爬到顶之后，人们可以直接滑下山去，从而经历无与伦比的刺激和享受。
